Fatimah Haji-Asiri is an Japanese-to-English audiovisual media translator, localizer, and consultant. Her childhood (and adulthood) is one spent consumed by storytelling, with a particular affinity for manga, animation, and video games. With research and consulting skills capable of handling the nichest of topics and a big nerdy brain operating at max CPU output, she has lent her power to various audiovisual media-related projects in both Japan and beyond. Don't ask her about manga demographics unless you're ready for a multi-hour-long presentation.

She requires little supervision, and her mastery of both Japanese and English in a variety of contexts means that I am confident in assigning her to anime from a wide range of genres. In addition, her translations are functionally indistinguishable from dialogue written natively in English.

Fatimah has also displayed great willingness and ability to learn. Before working with Bayi, she had no experience with subtitling whatsoever, and she had to learn how to create accurate timecodes and operate subtitling software from scratch.
